For us, inclusion means that everyone has access to equitable opportunities and resources and feels able to fully contribute. 

Every person at WesCEF has the ability to impact whether others feel included, and we set ambitious initiatives to increase our diversity and inclusion each and every year. 

Some of our diversity and inclusion initiatives include:

  • Gender balance

    WesCEF’s gender balance policy has been in place since 2010 and strives for gender balance in all teams – a minimum of 40 per cent male and female. To achieve this we have a number of initiatives in place, including driving gender balance in recruitment, flexible working and gender pay equity.

  • Gender pay equity

    Since 2010, WesCEF had conducted an annual review of gender pay equity to ensure all employees are paid equally for like for like roles. Read more

  • Inclusion training

    Learning programs for leaders and team members on practical solutions and supportive practices for inclusive work environments.

  • Flexible working

    Flexibility in all its forms is encouraged and is regarded as a key enabler of an inclusive work environment, team member empowerment and productivity.

  • Parental leave

    Competitive paid parental leave allowances that are reviewed periodically. Recent improvements include the provision of superannuation for paid and unpaid components of parental leave and inclusion of caregivers of any gender.

  • Recognition and employee particpation

    Each year, WesCEF employees recongise and particpate in community events such as Pride Month, Wear it Purple Day, Harmony Week, National Sorry Day, National Reconciliation Week, NAIDOC Week, Apology Day, International Women’s Day, International Men’s Day and more.

    We offer a unique Aboriginal Awareness and Cultural Inclusion Program to raise awareness and celebrate the diversity and richness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.

Through the Wesfarmers Reconciliation Action Plan,  WesCEF is committed to creating a workforce that is diverse and a workplace that is inclusive. Our Aboriginal engagement and employment strategy aims to build relationships and respect, and create opportunities
