CSBP Fertilisers statement in relation to Coles meat pricing
Recent media reports surrounding
Coles meat pricing have resulted in some of our customers questioning
the motives behind Coles pricing strategies and, by virtue of
association, doing business with CSBP.
CSBP Fertilisers has a long and proud history of over 100 years of partnering with the WA farming community. The success of the CSBP Fertilisers business is dependent on the ongoing profitability of its customers, and CSBP Fertilisers is committed to working with its customers to ensure their sustainable success.
CSBP Fertilisers is a business unit within the Wesfarmers Chemicals and Energy & Fertilisers division (WesCEF). WesCEF is one of eight autonomous operating divisions within the Wesfarmers Group.
Over time, the Wesfarmers Group has diversified to include a range of different businesses including supermarkets, department stores, home improvement and office supplies, coal mining, energy, insurance, chemicals, fertilisers, and industrial and safety products.
Despite this diversification, Wesfarmers has supported the efforts of CSBP Fertilisers to support its customers through difficult and volatile trading conditions experienced in Western Australia, particularly during the past few years. This support of CSBP Fertilisers and its customers demonstrates that the strong links that Wesfarmers has built with the agricultural sector and farming communities remain as strong as ever.
